The Corporation of the Township of Langley is seeking Request for Statements of Qualifications for the River Road Slope Remediation Project.  All interested parties are invited to submit a response and are required to demonstrate experience and knowledge specific to remediation works on steep slopes.

The River Road Slope Remediation Project will consist of working on a steep slope in the 24600 block of River Road.  In February 2020, a slope failure was experienced in this location consisting of the mobilization of approximately 250m3 of material.  The slope in this area is approximately 40 degrees.  The contractor will be required to access the slope from above, cut in an access road to 2 working points, remove the unstable material, reshape the side slopes of the channel and subsequently import and place rip rap material.  Restoration of the slope will also be required and subsequent removal of the access road and cleanup. Restoration is intended to be completed in September/October of 2020.
