Description: |
Several communities recognize the need to work together as a larger
investment corridor in order to attract Foreign Direct Investment. The Economic
Development functions of five communities: the City of Abbotsford, City of
Chilliwack / Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation, City of Maple Ridge,
District of Mission, and the Township of Langley have united, as the Fraser
Valley Alliance (FVA), under the common goal of understanding the region’s
technology-sector capacity as a means to inform an investment attraction
strategy for the region. The Township of Langley, on behalf of the FVA, invites qualified consultants to submit Proposals for the Technology Sector Capacity & Investment Attraction Strategy - Consulting Services. This project’s aim is to solidify the sub-region’s competitive advantages as a technology investment corridor by doing a comprehensive assessment to understand the sub-regional inventory, its synergies, our investment-ready capacity and markets for Foreign Direct Investment targeting within the technology sector. Tools and resources can then be created to attract the key technology sub-sectors that have the greatest value in terms of attraction, investment, and corridor alignment. Schedule C has been provided in Word format for your convenience to fill out. |
