The Corporation of the Township of Langley is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified consultants to produce a site analysis and design concept for a 3 acre waterfront public space in Fort Langley situated between Glover Road and the Fort Langley National Historic Site, with an option for continued services through detailed design, tender, and construction phases. As part of the project scope, a plan is to be presented for the restoration and repurposing of the historic Jacob Haldi House within the public waterfront site. In addition, a trail connection is to be shown that connects to the proposed pedestrian and cyclist overpass on the adjacent National Park Land, which will connect the Fort Langley National Historic Site to the waterfront over the CN rail tracks. In this RFP, the project site will be referred to as the Fort Langley Public Waterfront (FLPW). |
